We spent two nights in Irkutsk, getting used to five hours time difference from Moscow.
The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed walking around the islands in the Angara river:
The Babr, the emblem of Irkutsk. It’s a siberian tiger, holding a beaver in its mouth. There is a funny story behind it, going back to a spelling error in St. Petersburg.
