Highway to Durrës
Lots of cycling on the highway today. Although its officialy forbidden to cycle on the highway, it is no problem at all. There are many bikes, mopeds and carts with animals on the highway, often in the wrong direction. The traffic is pretty relaxed, because the drivers are not going very fast and they are very alert.

When we stopped to eat something next to the highway, we met Phil and Celia from the USA and Mitch and Tam from New Zealand, who are all cycling around Europe. Car drivers went crazy cheering for us when they saw the big group of cyclists :) Here's a photo of the whole gang:
In the evening we found the perfect place to sleep, at a deserted beach resort outside of Durrës:
