Gone worldseeing

Actually cycled route (13243 km in 20 countries):

Off to Montenegro

Today we left Croatia for Montenegro. We spent a long time in Croatia, with two visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina in between. We were really amazed of the beauty of both countries, and we met many extremely nice people on the way!

Here is the route we cycled through Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina:

Going down. The border to Montenegro is near!

Brief visit to Herceg Novi:

Instead of taking the ferry, we spent some time cycling around the Bay of Kotor:

Cooking lunch behind an abandoned building, with a great view of the bay:

Sveti Đorđe and Gospa od Škrpjela, located on small islets in the bay:

In the evening we reached the beach of Budva. Tourism season was completely over here. The campsite was closed and all the beach bars and restaurants too. The campsite was on an open area, so we just set up our tents. At the beach we met Rita and Ortwin, who were looking for a place to camp with their caravan. They invited us to soup and wine, which was just perfect after a long day of cycling. In the end we spent a very nice evening on the terrace of a closed restaurant, staying dry from the rain :)
