Lakes, woods, fields and spooky castles

In the afternoon we found an abandoned castle in a small village. On the way, we met a man who could tell us something about its history. He came as a refugee to the village in 1945, and lived in the castle for some time. Afterwards it was used as a school, kindergarten, space for doctors and even shops. In later years, there were some investors who tried to rebuild the castle with state money, but they all failed in one way or the other. In the end the building was abandoned and has been unused since the early 1980s.
